In 2001, the Johannesburg office of Hartley’s Safaris opened a new division ‘Hartley’s Ocean & Islands’. This division specialises in Island holidays with particular specialist knowledge on scuba diving. For the South African & international outbound traveller we offer holidays to remote island & beach wilderness destinations all over the world and for the inbound international traveller we have the specialist knowledge of the Southern & East Africa’s diving & beach destinations. We are a small bespoke tour operator, based in Johannesburg and are selective in the properties we recommend insuring the individual itineraries meet specific requirements and preferences.
