Malawi has an incredible variety of stunning landscapes. The unique rolling hills of orchid clad Nyika; the cool forested plateau of Zomba; the 3000m climbers' paradise of Mulanje Massif; the broad and fertile Shire Valley.

From rugged highlands to lowland plains - the scene is ever changing. Lake Malawi is the worlds third largest fresh water lake and home to over 800 fish species. It is one of the world’s top freshwater dive destinations where one can indulge on hidden and unspoilt tropical islands that dot the warm and clear waters.

Lake Malawi offers the adventurous traveller diving, snorkelling, sailing, kayaking and beach relaxation across the Lake. Warm water, no currents - a divers dream. It is estimated that there are over 500 fish species from 10 families with cichlids as the dominant species. Most cichlids have a remarkable breeding trait, the female carry their eggs and fry in their mouth until the young are ready and able to look after their own needs. No wonder that Lake Malawi is sometimes referred to as God’s Aquarium
