The Indian Ocean stretches from the coast of South Africa in the west up to the Red Sea, across to Southeast Asia, Indonesia and down to meet the Pacific Ocean off South Australia. There are many wondrous dive sites off the coastlines of some of the Islands which bejewel this body of water. The water is typically warm and crystal clear, the beaches, dazzling fine sand punctuated by tall, whispering palm trees and there is an abundance of coral and marine species to be enjoyed by the keen diver or snorkeller.
