REDANG ISLAND
Landbased Itinerary Liveaboard Itinerary

Power white beaches, turqoise blue waters, unforgettable sunsets... lure visitors to the magic of Redang Island. The island, off Kuala Terengganu on the east coast of the peninsula, is reputedly Malaysia's premier Marine Park.

Redang is surrounded by turquoise blue waters and boasts of one of the most stunning beaches in Malaysia. North of the island, the calm waters of the bay at Teluk Dalam Kecil and the lush tropical rainforests, inland, combine to form a picture perfect scene. The Malaysian offshore islands of Redang and Tengool boast schools of jacks, fusiliers, sweet lips, clown triggerfish, parrotfish and a wide variety of nudibranchs. Occasionally divers spot mantas, tiger and grey sharks.

The dive sites range from shallow depth of 6 metres to 35 metres, with various terrain - sheltered bays, walls and submerged mounts. Redang offers some of the best diving in this part of the world due to its great biodiversity of marine life. Redang's major attraction is it's population of leatherback turtles. There's a wide variety of dive sites from beach dives off Pasir Panjang, shallow dives at Kerengga to deep and challenging dives at Big Mount.
