SIPADAN
Landbased Itinerary Liveaboard Itinerary

World renowned Pulau Sipadan has just about everything. You can take your pick from the easiest of diving and snorkelling in shallow water above coral, drifting with the currents on the more exposed sites, diving as deep as safety allows down the walls, or penetrating the renowned Turtle Cave.

At Sipadan you get to dive amongst the giants of the sea. Divers will find schools of barracuda, humphead parrotfish, white tipped reef sharks, grey reef sharks and friendly reef fish by the thousands. Hammerheads are sometimes sighted at South Point and a solid wall of barracuda is found on most dives. Turtles are the star attraction of diving in Sipadan. You will see about 30 to 40 on practically every dive.

Sipadan has recently been recognised as part of the Sabah Marine Park. There are 2 island close by to Sipadan offering accommodation – Mabul and Kapalai.. When staying on these islands diving is divided between Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai – ensuring the best of all worlds – a unique and diverse diving experience.

Mabul and Kapalai is heaven for studying the micro aspects of marine life and guarantees hours of fascinating fish watching with ample opportunities for photography. There are about 17 dive sites in Mabul and about 13 dive sites in Kapalai. Most of the diving in Mabul and Kapalai is shallow and these places are "macro heaven on earth". On one given dive, divers may get to see as many as 25 or 30 remarkable photo subjects.
