Bohol, just across Cebu Island , is a mysterious land of wondrous geological formations, lush forests alive with rare species of flora and fauna, and idyllic seaside towns with antique houses that cluster around centuries-old churches. Also known for the famous Chocolate Hills, Bohol offers great diving opportunities and picturesque beaches. Panglao Island , just a 30-minute drive from Bohol 's capital Tagbilaran, offers a wealth of coral reefs harboring a colorful world of tropical marine life. You can reach Tagbilaran within 1½ hour with a Fast Ferry from Cebu City . Gorgonia Wall dive site is located in the waters around Cabilao, to the west of Bohol. Attractions include the rare pygmy seahorse. The top destinations are:

Alona Beach - An 800 meter strip of finest sand is home to numerous beach resorts, restaurants and dive centers. With it's a picturesque beach and nearby top diving destinations it's the choice of many vacationers.

Doljo Beach - Undeveloped, the 4km of unspoiled beach is the dream for people searching for relaxation and recovery from a hectic life style. As of now there is only one beach resort at the whole beach. If you are looking for company and a little bit of nightlife, the livelier Alona Beach is just a 15-minute ride away.
