PHI PHI ISLANDS
Landbased Itinerary Liveaboard Itinerary

The twin islands of Koh Phi Phi are without a doubt, one of the world's most stunning destinations. Pure golden sand, crystal clear water and a relaxed atmosphere give these treasures a unique charm. Here you can still find friendly local people, touches of the bohemian island lifestyle, as well as an astonishing natural landscape, both above ground and underwater. Diving in the Phi Phi Islands is an experience not to be missed. From shallow sheltered bays to wall and drift dives, there’s something for every level of diver. Visibility ranges on average from 10-25metres with weak to moderate currents. Water temperature remains a fairly constant 27-30C throughout the year, depths from 10-30metres Diving here offers an amazing variety of marine life, beautiful soft corals, staghorn coral gardens and huge sea fans. On the sandy bottom, leopard sharks can be found resting.

For non-divers, the Phi Phi area offers superb snorkelling with the opportunity to see not only beautiful coral gardens but also some of the larger fish at shallow depths. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang : These two sites south of the town of Krabi are accessible only by liveaboard or by fast speedboat from Phi Phi Island. Hin Daeng is a pinnacle rising 10ft above the water's surface. On the southern side of the rock, the pinnacle drops straight down to 197ft. On the eastern side, the drop-off is less dramatic. Two ridges extend to 131ft and support tall coral trees and gorgonian fans. Like silvery curtains in the wind, huge schools of jacks continuously weave their way through these ridges. South of Hin Deang is Hun Muang, known for it's purple soft corals, sea fans in hues of red, orange and yellow, sponges, anemones, tall gorgonian fans and rocky outcrops. Best Time to Travel : The best time for diving is between October and May between the two monsoons, but good diving is available all year.
