Landbased Itinerary Liveaboard Itinerary

Spectacular scenery, stunning tropical sunsets and warm blue sea awaits at Asia’s most popular beach destination. The island of fun provides an unbeatable combination of perfect silky soft beaches, superb hospitality and great value accommodation! Whether it’s world class diving in the Andaman Sea, golf at championship courses or exciting eco-adventures in tropical forest, Phuket is a place to extend your horizons. Take an exhilarating speedboat trip to surrounding islands, or a serene cruise around mystical Phang Nga Bay. Or simply enjoy Phuket’s vibrant nightlife in Patong Beach. Total unforgettable enjoyment. Phuket rates among the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world. Spectacular reefs, unusual underwater rock formations, and huge variety of marine life provide great opportunities for divers at all levels. It boasts crystal clear water, spectacular reefs and rock formations plus a vibrant ecosystem teeming with marine life.

The waters of the Andaman Sea are crystal clear, with visibility often exceeding 30 metres (100 feet), and extending up to 45 metres (150 feet). The average surface temperature is 28°C (82°F) with no thermocline. Hundreds of varieties of hard and soft corals, brilliantly coloured fish and sea creatures, including some of the larger reef fish abound here and Whale Shark and Manta Ray sightings are common occurrences. Dozens of scenic island destinations lie within easy range of day boats and liveaboard cruises from Phuket. Shark point is a small, submerged outcrop some 8km southeast of Phi Phi Ley and is by far, the best and most popular dive site by day-trip from Phuket or Phi Phi. These two pinnacles are located approximately 25 km east of Chalong Bay in Phuket. Despite their limited visibility, these are two of the better dives in the world. This rock which only just breaks the surface, attracts many Leopard sharks and often Nurse and Reef sharks as well. It is a favoured spot for Whale Sharks around February/March. Dive sites can be reached either by liveaboard from Phuket (Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Richelieu Rock). Or you can reach closer dive sites by day boats from Phuket or the numerous islands such as Koh Phi Phi (reached by ferry from Krabi and Phuket) for the westcoast dive sites. Best Time to Travel : The best time for diving is between October and May between the two monsoons, but good diving is available all year.
